I think that fretboard could use a good cleaning.
It’s not dirty, he’s just played it so much that the stain of the wood has worn off in some spots. Maybe it’s a combination of both.

Hey man, nice playing. Just to add something, the original solo from Kee Marcello has slightly different time figures for the notes; the first and the second are eighth notes and the third and the fourth, where you do the pull-off, are sixteenth notes. But you may already know this anyway.
